BABYLON SAINTS
Roots Rock Reggae
Babylon Saints were a Los Angeles–based band built on a singular fusion of roots, rock, and reggae. The original lineup brought together Joseph "Panhead" Peck on steelpans and percussion, Matt Gerovac on vocals and guitar, Tyler Drake on bass, and Brandon Peterson on drums—four musicians whose distinct backgrounds met in a sound that was equal parts groove, grit, and soul.

From 2007 to 2011, the band carved out a devoted following across Southern California and up the Central Coast, bringing their genre-blurring live show to stages throughout the region. That momentum caught the attention of Citation Records, which signed the band and supported the release of their self-titled debut album. When the label closed its doors, Babylon Saints pressed on, self-funding a second release, the Chameleon EP.
Both records remain available on Apple Music: explore the Babylon Saints catalog, the self-titled debut album, and Chameleon EP.

“Babylon Saints are brilliant–a soulful energy force of irresistible rhythms and enticing stories. At a time when the musical landscape has grown dim, Babylon Saints have turned on the creative lights with a suite of brilliant songs that speak to the mind and heart. They are intelligent; they are funky; they are original; they are simple; they are complex; they are saintly in their expression of joy, hope, and musical inspiration. “ –David Ritz
